You could also record the audio seperatly with a program like Audicity this gives you the option to dub out things that you might not want people to hear (Like my freaking dogs).
The second solution is just to tell it to use the mic directly in my experience OBS hooking the mic is much better than passing it thru whatever weirdness is otherwise available. If there is then find the microphone and set "Listen to this device" Then select "Stereo Mix" Then tell OBS to hook it by going to the + sign below sources and select "Audio inputs". Then go to the "Recording" tab and see if theres something weird like "Stereo Mix". Normally desktop audio will be automatically selected a quick check should be done to make sure it hooked the correct audio device though (Also I know it's reading my CPU just ignore that)Īlso if you record and notice your mic is not being picked up there are two solutions go into Control Panel>Hardware and sound>Manage audio Devices.
